Opening of the Taranaki Savings Bank, Devon Street. A large crowd is gathered in the street and a group of people stand in the entrance to the bank. The Union Jack and New Zealand flag hang outside the building. The bank was opened by the Governor General Lord Bledisloe on Friday 13th June 1930.
