Description
Established 25 June 1936 with the aim of co-ordinating the tourism efforts of existing organisations within New Plymouth. The committee was involved in organising the New Plymouth Borough Jubilee of 1936 other activities involved printing publicity material, liasing with organisations to promote the use of New Plymouth as a conference venue, sports events and carnival days. The minutes cease in January 1940 and in March 1956 the committee was wound up.
