Kelvin Day bought this phone for $99.99 from The Warehouse on 19 September 2000. He bought it to use on a prepay plan but ended up using it very little as he was issued with a cell phone for work. Soon after this time texting began to be used more and more and as this phone was not able to send text messages this was a major drawback.
