A black cotton T-Shirt promoting the Puke Ariki exhibition Taranaki War 1860-2010 Te Ahi Kā Roa, Te Ahi Kātoro exhibition. " DON'T / MENTION / THE / WAR " is screenprinted in yellow on the front of the shirt. " TE AHI KĀ ROA, TE AHI KĀTORO / TARANAKI WAR 1860-2010 / WAR (in decorative script) / OUR LEGACY . OUR CHALLENGE / Puke Ariki ( Puke Ariki brand) / www.pukeariki.com. " is screen printed in white on the reverse of the shirt. Two small tags on the interior of the collar feature manufacturing detail and care instructions.

This T-Shirt was produced to promote the Puke Ariki exhibition Taranaki War 1860-2010 Te Ahi Kā Roa, Te Ahi Kātoro which ran from 17 March 2o10 - 1 August 2010. The shirts were first delivered in mid April during the Museums Aotearoa conference where a number were given away to delegates. The shirts were part of a wider promotional campaign for the exhibition and were also made available for sale at Vivid, the Puke Ariki shop. All the shirts were black but a variety of colours of lettering were produced.
