Description
Ngatu, barkcloth. Large ngatu with plain background, and vertical bands of dye rubbed and overpainted patterning. These include a repeating motif which seems to contain the lettering 'BA 66b / TAMOHIO'. Plain sections have individual rubbed and overpainting motifs including birds [?] and crowns.
