Description
Masi kesa, barkcloth. Very fine, pale barkcloth, with stencilled and painted designs in black. Double bands of diamonds at either long edge, between parallel lines. Two plain rectangular design fields have long, zigzag lines crossed with short hatching, interspersed with linear motifs including one consisting of four 'petals' which appears twice. Three square areas in between are densely patterned with geometric designs including the vane pattern and stencilled 'flower' motifs. Cut at one end (from longer cloth).
