This nib pen is thought to have accompanied a writing box which came over to New Plymouth with Richard and Elizabeth Putt on the William Bryan. It has since been handed down the family and was definitely accompanying the box in 1955 when it was given to Rosalie Barriball by her father Arthur William Theodore Putt.
