Album containing 23 photographs taken by Chapman-Taylor during the construction and after completion of 'Wilkinson's Castle', Pukearuhe. All of the photographs have been captioned and initialled by Chapman-Taylor. The album also contains 6 leaves of typewritten pages that have been adhered into the album. The first of the typewritten pages is headed with the title "SOME THOUGHTS ON THE BUILDING OF HOUSES". The sixth page is signed by Chapman-Taylor. The typewritten pages discuss the process of building the house, the materials used and Chapman-Taylor's thoughts on the nature of the building. The frontispiece reads: "The Home of C. A. Wilkinson Esq M.P. / Designed & Built by J. W. Chapman-Taylor at Pukearuhe North Taranaki 1929-1930".
