Oeo Primary School was located on Main South Road, near Manaia. It opened in 1910 and closed May 1988.

So pleased to see you have these items in your collection. There were also two log books dating from 1910 until 1988. I presume they went to the Education Board when the school closed. They would be well worth while having as they had been kept regularly over the years. I have many photos from 1980 until 1986 if you are interested. I also have some digital tapes that the children recorded with the help of Judith Fife of the NZ Oral Archieves. Diana O’Brien, Principal 1980-85
