Description
A replica of an ancient Greek Arethusa decadrachm coin from Syracuse (Sicily). The obverse features a quadriga chariot galloping left with a charioteer holding the reins. The goddess Nike is flying to crown the charioteer. The reverse features a left facing profile of the nymph Arethusa facing left. Four dolphins also feature on the reverse. It is attached to a royal commemorative medallion by a chain.
