 Description
An Ashanti Star. A bronze saltire cross with a four pointed star in the angles is surmounted by a circular belt. " ASHANTI 1896 " is embossed on the belt which surrounds a British crown. " FROM THE QUEEN " is marked on the reverse, which is otherwise plain. It is attached to a yellow ribbon with black stripes by a simple ring suspension. The ribbon is mounted on cardboard.
