My great great grandfather was Frederick William Marchant, he was the one who engineered this dredge and bought her to life.

My great grandfather Albert Ernest Collins served as the assistant engineer on the dredge Paratutu from the age of 24, periodically between 6/4/1920 until 10/12/1936 according to his Certificates of Discharge for Seamen that we have.

Found a painting of this dredge , painted by my Grandfather Mr Ian Guild. 1951 ... love to show it to whomever has it now. If still afloat after all these years.
