Description
An India Medal. The silver medal features a left facing veiled and crowned profile of Queen Victoria. " VICTORIA REGINA IMPERATRIX " is embossed around the portrait. The reverse features a British and Indian soldier holding a standard. It is attached to the green and crimson striped ribbon by an ornate scrolled suspension bar. " RELIEF OF CHITRAL / 1895 " is embossed on a clasp attached to the ribbon. ""5518 Pte Geo. Milliken 2nd K.O.S.B "." is marked on the edge. The ribbon is mounted on cardboard. The ribbon is fitted with " PUNJAB FRONTIER 1897-98 " and " TIRAH 1892-98 " clasps.
