 Description
An India General Service Medal. The silver medal features a young head profile of Queen Victoria on the obverse. " VICTORIA REGINA " is embossed around the profile. The reverse features a Victory figure crowning a scantily clad warrior. " 1597 Pte J. Conway 2d Bn R. Sco. Fus " is marked on the edge. The medal is attached to the crimson and dark blue striped ribbon by a decorative scrolled suspension bar. A " BURMA 1885-7 " clasp is mounted on the ribbon. The ribbon is mounted on cardboard.
