Wiremu Tutu Tahana had three children. Karo, Mere and Ano to Mary Bishop. NB It was Wiremu's uncle Te Tahana Papawaka who died childless. He was the leading Native Assessor or magistrate. He was a chief at Te Hua.

My mother has jist tracked her family tree back to wiremu and Mary through their daughter mere and huspbnd kum sing who then had daughter minnie who married George barr, They had daughter Kathleen . Would love to know more if anyone has more info . My Nana's name was Joyce bent daughter of Kathleen
