Half plate glass negative showing a ship moored at the Newton King Wharf behind a small boat and a floating raft on the left of the negative. The unfinished wharf with its wooden piles prominent at the front and centre of the negative, and a small wooden shed and tower erected along the right edge of the wharf, and two more tower in the distance near the end of the wharf.
