Credit line
This heater is a later version of the original Standard Belling Fire. After qualifying as an electrical engineer in 1906, Charles Belling set up his own business and patented the original Standard Belling Fire in 1912. The heater was an immediate success and the company grew in size and reputation. This heater was a later development. The company also went on to develop Baby Belling Cookers in the late 1920s.
