Henry Blyde
Description
Sir Henry Ernest Blyde (1896-1984). Known as Harry, Blyde was elected chairman of the Taranaki Harbours Board (formerly the New Plymouth Harbour Board) in 1953 and held the role for 21 years. Blyde was knighted for public service in 1969.
