Display of vehicles held in Pukekura Park on Easter Saturday 28 March 1970 from 1.00pm. The occasion was the a public display in connection with the 1970 National Rally of the Vintage Car Club of New Zealand Hosted by the Taranaki Branch in New Plymouth. It was the New Zealand National Rally for Veteran and Vintage motor vehicles, motor cycles and Commercial vehicles. It was the largest gathering of vintage vehicles in Taranaki and a first major rally that had been organised by the Taranaki branch since it was formed in 1961.
