Leanne
Perham
(nee
Simmons)
by
her
grandmother
Nelly
Kirk.
Leanne
used
to
play
with
the
Wombles
on
the
floor
of
her
bedroom,
re-enacting
scenes
from
the
television
programme.
They
were
always
proudly
shown
to
her
friends
and
displayed
on
a
shelf
in
her
room.
