This Womble figurine was one of an apparently home made set purchased for New Plymouth girl Leanne Perham (nee Simmons) by her grandmother Nelly Kirk. Leanne used to play with the Wombles on the floor of her bedroom, re-enacting scenes from the television programme. They were always proudly shown to her friends and displayed on a shelf in her room.
