Jordan, Claude Alan
Description
Alan Jordan was born in Wellington. He served with the British 9th Kings Rifle Regiment during World War One and was awarded the military medal.
On his return to New Zealand he farmed at Oropi, Tauranga and later moved to an orchard on the outskirts of Tauranga. He married Eleanor Tobin, 11 August 1926. They had one daughter Diana Elizabeth.
