Description
A black taffeta gown with a plain round neck, a narrow velvet collar with a cameo attached to the front and taffeta piping along the waist and shoulder seam lines. The sleeves have velvet ribbons around the cuffs and are trimmed with cotton lace at the cuff opening. Three velvet-covered buttons decorate one of the cuffs and others are missing. The skirt is full, pleated and has several folds along the side and back panels. Two lines of velvet ribbon trim the hem. There is hook and eye fastening along the front opening of the bodice.
