Selma, Ship
Production date
04 Jul 1961
Description
Copy negative of a sailing ship at sea. The ship is the 'Selma'.
The captain was Johan Adolph Bach (born 17 Sept. 1834 in Norway). They sailed from England and were presumed wrecked somewhere off coast of America in 1893 and lost with all hands. Lily Andrews (nee Bach) inherited the original oil painting. She had five photos taken of the 'Selma' and had the original oil painting returned to England.
