Mary-Anne Shepherd, daughter of Bill and Helen Shepherd, Tariki Road. I went to Ratapiko School from 1960-1968, then to Inglewood High and on to Victoria University, Wellington to gain a Bachelor of Music. Years of working as a performer and teacher of music in Gisborne and Auckland. Married Brian Lomas from Gisborne, had two sons Timothy and Scott. Marriage ended. Later married Neil McAllum in Auckland and taught music and health education in Auckland secondary schools. Worked at University of Auckland and Waikato University, gained a Master of Health Science (Hons) and a PhD in Education. Currently living in Stratford, Taranaki.
