Plan of a proposed maternity home at 55 Gover Street, New Plymouth for Mrs Ellis (known as Sister Ellis) showing ground and drainage plan, first floor plan, elevations and cross section drawn by Thomas Bates 1928.
Built in 1928 by Boon Brothers and named Timata Ora, the house operated as a maternity hospital until 1957 when it was closed and converted into a private residence, later known as Timata Ora Bed & Breakfast.
