This photo can be dated 1892-1897. Thomas KING is my grandfather. He completed a saddlery apprenticeship under Jacob Meuli in Manaia from age 15, 1887-1892. He then returned to his 'home town' and had his own saddlery business in Inglewood from 1892-1897. He married Margaret Ann McCURDY of NP in April 1897. They moved briefly to Paeroa but by Feb 1898 they had returned to Straford, where Thomas King had opened a new saddlery business. Although the photo is rather grainy, I have zoomed on it and would think Thomas King is on the right, but I have no idea who the other two people are.
