Description
A blue silky banner for the Tarata Pukeho District branch of the North Taranaki Young Farmers Club. The banner features a picture of a fashionable young couple in the centre. Three farming scenes are pictured in white circular borders on the banner along with the Young Farmers Club emblem in blue and yellow.
" NORTH TARANAKI / YOUNG FARMERS / CLUB / DISTRICT / TARATA " is written in white on the banner which has small yellow tassels on two sides and a wooden rod threaded through a sleeve at the top.

Formed in May 1939, the Tarata/Pukeho Club met in the Tarata Hall, holding a variety of activities including debating, public speaking, growing swedes, pasture and stock judging, shearing competitions, rifle shooting and dog trials. The club closed in 1989.
