Description
A pink sugar bowl featuring a scene from New Plymouth's Recreation Ground (now Pukekura Park). The bowl has a white glazed interior and it features a scene of the Main Lake, Poet's Bridge and Band Rotunda in the foreground and Mount Taranaki / Egmont in the background. " RECREATION GROUNDS / NEW PLYMOUTH . N.Z. " is written below the scene. The lower portion of the bowl is slightly dimpled. The foot of the bowl is unglazed and " MADE IN GERMANY " is stamped on the underside.
