A Kodak photograph album containing images of the Mokau area, taken by John L. MacDonald c.1931. The album has a teal coloured fabric cover with a black geometric design running along the bottom of the front cover and "Kodak" embossed in gold. The album has 12 double-sided pages and contains 22 silver gelatin prints, all of which are annotated. The photographs depict the Mokau River before, during and following construction of the Mokau Bridge, the Mokau wharf, Punts and other boats on the river, Pukekura Park, houses in rural North Taranaki, the road over Mount Messenger, an unidentified flower girl and Maori woman Kiriwai at Te Kauri Pa, Mokau.
