The Round House was erected in 1852 on Devon Street, then later moved to Courtenay Street in 1905. It was demolished in 1938.

Woodcut print of people riding in an amusement park ride known as 'teacups'. There is one teacup in the foreground with four figures in it, which appear to be yelling and have their hair flung around. The teacup is decorated with abstract patterns. Three additional teacups with figures are visible in the background. Only two of the three have patterns on the outside of the teacup. The artwork is imbued with a strong sense of movement and dynamism. Rendered in black and white.

Their hair is flying in the air behind them. They are moving in the direction of the woodblock incisions that texture the background, which creates a dynamic sense of movement.

Geometric patterns decorate the background. Rendered in black and white. The artwork was also used on the cover of a tape for the group 'Looking for a Band' [PA2006.142]. Tom Mutch is listed as having been the lead vocalist, guitar and flute for the band and as having written all the lyrics for the band's songs.

She is dressed in leggings, leotard and sweater with bare feet (possibly a dancer). On the corner of the table, which is covered with a table cloth, is a cup, bottle of milk and cassette tape. In the background is a coffee table sitting on a rug that has flowers on it, an armchair, a window with vegetation visible through it and a pot plant. The texture of the floor suggests carpet. Rendered in blues, greens, grey, terracotta, orange, white, browns and pink.

Etching is broken into halves horizontally. The lower half has an image of a young girl with long hair (head and arms visible) sleeping on her stomach and resting her head on her hands and pillow. There are six geometric patterns extending from the right hand vertical edge onto her blankets - silver; blue; red; green; grey/gold; grey. The image is grainy and has the characteristics of a photo-etching. The top half, perhaps rendered to represent a dream, depicts a partially unravelled scroll portraying a Polynesian woman wearing a headscarf. Intricate geometric patterns are represented on the background of the scroll behind the woman. The scroll's ties hang loose from the left hand side. Both the sleeping girl and the scroll are depicted in a purple/brown hue.

Two panelled image. The narrow panel at the bottom of the image depicts the sea in both a deep and a light blue. The large top panel is an aerial view across to Mount Taranaki (partially snow-covered). The plains are divided by roads and into blocks of farming. Two pa sites are also visible. In the foregroud there are several blocks of cultivated land that have a chequered appearance. The plain is rendered in various shades of green and there is blue sky in the background.

Screenprint is broken up into eight panels. In the first four panels, an eagle is flying from the horizon towards the smoke stack at Port Taranaki, getting closer in each panel. In the fifth panel the eagle crashes tino the smoke stack. Text reads "Thunk", "Whoosh" and "Scre-e-e-e-ch!". The sixth panel has the eagle flying away from the crumbling stack. The seventh panels depicts the silhouette of the eagle flying away over a cloud of dust and rubble. Text reads "Booom!". The last panel shows the stump of the smoke stack seen from a distance with Paritutu dominating the skyline once more. Screenprint rendered in yellow, black, red, grey, brown & white.
