A brass dental nurse's badge with enamel decoration. The badge is made up of a a medallion attached to a bar by a copper link ring. A New Zealand crest is embossed at the centre of the medal. A Mineral Specimens of New Zealand box set which contains 96 small mounted samples of rocks and minerals, each which are named with a printed label. Many of these labels also include location information. The box is rectangular with a hinged lid and is covered with an embossed gold coloured paper. The hinged lid is lined and fitted with a label on the top and underside which features a hei tiki design. " MINERAL SPECIMENS / OF / NEW ZEALAND " is marked on the label along with fern and kowhaiwhai type patterns. It is fitted with a cylinder stop safety catch. " Presented by / The New Zealand Government / to Member Charles Messenger / of the Taranaki Rifle Volunteers / FOR GALLANTRY IN THE FIELD / On the 28 March 1860 / at Waireka New Plymouth / TARANAKI " is engraved on a metal plate fixed to the grip. B17,803 / ADAMS' PATENT No. 33550 R " is marked on the frame and " 33550 " is marked on the cylinder. " L. A. C." is marked on the barrel along with other proof marks. The revolver is held in a custom made presentation case along with various accessories.

The record itself features a paper label with " HIT SINGLES " written in large red capitals along with a drawing of a smoking revolver. Side 2 features the same text with a man, who has apparently been shot. Both of these labels also feature track listings in grey text. Side 1 of the record features the tracks " YOU'LL NEVER KNOW " " ISN'T THAT STRANGE " " COULD IT BE INCREASED " . Side 2 features " DIFFICULT DAYS" and "OUT OF MY HANDS" .The black cover features a photograph of a spartan room and a seated figure.
