A water cooled, belt fed, Maschinengewehr MG08, machine gun. 7.92mm calibre. It has a short barrel at front, behind which is the large, long round water container. A rectangular box-like breech is located behind water container. Attached to lid is a calibrated hinged sight. Handles containing oil and oiling brushes located at back of box. Firing mechanism is behind handles. Serial number 11640. Has " Deutshe Waffen und Munitions - Frabriken. Berlin 1916 " stamped on the side.

A single barrel smooth bore flintlock pistol. The barrel appears to be strapped onto the stock with wire and both the metal and wood are engraved. It has a dome shaped decorative brass butt plate and the ramrod is missing.

A brass cap badge of the XIII Reinforcements. The badge features the Roman numerals " XIII " at the centre flanked by two fern fronds and surmounted by a crown. " REINFORCEMENTS " is embossed on a scroll design at the base. A simple pin and clasp is mounted at the reverse of the badge.

Brass hat badge of the New Zealand Cyclist Corps. The badge is comprised of a wheel surmounted by a crown with the barrels and stocks of two guns on either side. A scroll with the following text l "N.Z. CYCLISTS CORPS" is below the wheel. "J.R. GAUNT / LONDON" is stamped on the back and there is a brass clip on the rear for fastening.

Name/Title
A large embroidered pennant featuring the crest of the New Zealand Rifle Brigade 1914-1918. The fabric support is made from cream coloured silk framed by strips of lace. The whole pennant is fringed with lace. The crest of the New Zealand Rifle Brigade is embroidered in gold-coloured thread in the centre. " SOYES FERME " is marked in gold coloured thread within a scroll design. " N.Z.R.B. " is written in yellow with with red edging below this. There are small gold coloured sequins worked into the embroidery.

Name/Title
A dog tag which appears to have been made from a coin. Front has " N.Z / 15665 / M.W.BEATTIE / RC ", and the reverse features Queen Victoria. Surrounding this are the words "VICTORIA DEI GRA BRITT REG". Two holes have been drilled above and below the image. A cream coloured piece of cord is tied through the top hole. The edge of the dog tag is grooved.

A bronze Memorial Plaque showing a robed and helmeted Britannia standing behind a lion. Britannia is holding a trident in one hand and a wreath in the other. Two dolphins are also pictured on the plaque and a small scene of a lion pouncing on an eagle features near the base of the plaque. " He Died for Freedom and Honour " is marked around the edge. " NOEL / LUTTRELL JORDAN " is also marked in a rectangular frame on the plaque. The plaque is enclosed in a folding cardboard enclosure and accompanied by a letter on Buckingham Palace letterhead. " I join with my grateful people / in sending you this memorial / of a brave life given for others/ in the Great War. " is written on the letter which is bears the signature of King George V. A small newsprint clipping of a photograph of Private Noel Luttrell Jordan has been kept with the plaque.
