Copy photograph of a sketch of the Reverend William Bolland. The image is a bust portrait of Bolland. He is wearing a shirt, jacket and bow tie. Bolland was the first Vicar of St Mary's Church (now Taranaki Cathedral). He arrived in Auckland on March 1843 and was appointed vicar on 3 December 1843.

Heavily hand tinted photographic portrait of William Tatton. Tatton is clothed in a dark blue suit with waistcoat, white shirt with pearl buttons and dark blue tie. The top of fob chain is visible at the bottom of the image. He has thick brown hair with close cropped beard and moustache. Tatton arrived in New Plymouth with his wife and family on the 'Eden' from London on 29 October 1850.
