A view of several buildings on Ōkorotua Marae, now commonly known as Ōākura pa. Some of the buildings are surrounded by wooden fences. The buildings are on a grassy plain at the bottom of a sheer hill. The small figures of five people are visible including one seated individual and one standing with a dog.

Photograph of a sketch presumably done by S. Percy Smith of the ruins of Iahai's pa. The photograph is mounted on a large cream coloured card. The image depicts the remains of the pa and its fortification fence; debris is scattered around the pa. There is a long hut on the left hand side of the image that remains standing.

Photographic copy of pencil sketch of Titokowaru at Mangaone kainga, Sunday 22 March 1885. Titokowaru is seated on the ground, he is holding his knees in his arms. In front of him is a plate of bread, a bowl, and a teacup. He has a long beard and is not wearing shoes. The sketch depicts a meeting between Maori and Europeans called by Titokowaru in 1885.

Photograph of the Orongomaihangai Pa on the Kaihihi River. There are trees in the foreground. The pa, large dirt mount, can be seen just past the first row of trees. There are cliffs in the backround and the river is on the right side of the image. The photograph is accompanied by information pertaining to the Maori defeat that took place at the site in October 1860.
