A Shark's tooth, also known as Carcharodon megalodon. Tooth is triangular in shape and with a smooth shiny exterior. Lines run vertically over parts of the surface. Small pieces of grit and sand are evident in some of the grooves above the actual tooth part of the object. Slate grey in colour.

A New Zealand Kingfisher mounted on a circular wooden base. On the reverse of the mount is a drilled circle for hanging the Kingfisher flat against a surface. It is standing on a protruding branch. The Kingfisher has a dappled white breast, green/blue head and wings, and black markings near the eyes and at the tips of the wings. It is perched on the branch with its head forwards, beak slightly open and wings closed.

The fossil is ovoid in shape when viewed from above and has distinctive nipped lower half when viewed from the side.

A small bird. It is predominately yellow with a black throat, wings and tail. There is a small marking of black around each eye. The flight feathers are black with white tips. The beak is black and straight. The yellow has a slight orange tinge to it. The beak is slightly opened. The legs are stretched out towards the end of the tail.
