Fully intact Puriri moth with outspread wings. The upper wings are predominantly green with brown patternation. Lower wings are light brown with green edging.
A Striped skink specimen (Leidopisma striatum) preserved in formalin. It has a brown back with grey dorsolateral bands. Ventral side speckled. Tail is cream. Appears to have become discoloured - probably due to the lizard having shed its tail and regrown another.

A Hochstetter's frog ( Leiopelma hochstetteri ) specimen preserved in formalin and contained in a glass specimen jar. The specimen has a dark brown back and its ventral side is dark brown and speckled. The outer layer appears to be flaking off. Toes partially webbed.
