Oil painting of Mount Taranaki from Holly Flat. Painted in a romantic style, it shows the snow-covered peak of Mount Taranaki looming in the background with a series of gorges and cliffs running through the midground. There is also a waterfall visible through the centre of the scene. Bush and trees are visible in the foreground. The painting is contained in a gold molded frame.

View of a two-storied house once located at 234 Devon Street East and 236 Courtenay Street, New Plymouth. The house is white with green window frames and detailing. The house is situated amidst a large garden. A lawn dominates the foregound. There is a large tree planted at the edge of the lawn, in front of the house. A wheelbarrow sits on the lawn on the left. The house was built for Dr David Wylie in 1910. From 1927 to 1950 it was the home of Monica and Rex Brewster. It was demolished some time in the 1970s.

Ink and pencil sketch of 'Port Alma' docked at the wharf in Moturoa. A number of figures are pictured standing on the wharf on the left of the image. 'Port Alma' was built in 1928 after WWI for the New Zealand-Britain trade. 'Port Alma' carried the first cargo of chilled beef from New Zealand when she sailed from Wellington for London in 1933.

Ink and pencil sketch of R.M.S. Remuera docked at New Plymouth's port. The ship was built in 1911 and operated an independent schedule from England to New Zealand from 1933 until the outbreak of war in 1939. She was sunk by German torpedo-carrying aircraft on 26 August 1940 in the North Sea.
