Prichard served in the army for four years.He spent two years and eight months in tours in Malaya, Borneo and Vietnam. He was awarded a Distinguished Conduct Medal (DCM) for bravery during firefight in Vietnem.

Kevin Holley speaks to Ray Cleaver about his time as Warrant Officer in the RNZ Infantry Regiment in the Malaya, Borneo and Vietnam Wars.
Holley served in Malaya in 1964, Borneo in 1965-1966 and Vietnam (with 161 Artillery Battery) in 1967-1968. He worked with the artillery in Vietnam and speaks about Agent Orange and ongoing health issues many Vietnam veterans have.

Guv (Hawea) Grey speaks to Ray Cleaver about his time as Sergeant in the RNZ Infantry Regiment and Engineering Corps in the Vietnam, Malaya and Borneo Wars.
Grey served in the Royal New Zealand Army for 20 years, he was deployed in Malaya, Borneo and Vietnam from 1966-1967 and in Singapore from 1972-1974. He speaks about jungle patrols and health issues from Agent Orange.

David Beacham speaks to Ray Cleaver about his time as Staff Sergeant in the RNZ Infantry Regiment in the Vietnam and Malaya Wars.
Beacham conducted compulsory military training and went on to territorial traing. He was a part of two tours in Malaya and one in Vietnam, on jungle patrols.

Russell Andrews speaks to Ray Cleaver about his time as gunner in the RNZ Armoured Corps in the Vietnam War.
Russell served six months in Vietnam, manning N202 guns and patrols, where he was poisoned by Agent Orange. He was injured and sent home. He speaks about his recurring health problems since the war and trouble finding work after the war.
