A photographic project of dairy factories throughout the Taranaki and Whanganui regions by Val Smith.
Information includes location of dairy factory, legal description of the site, brief history of the factory and present factory details (as at 1983-1984) such as owner/s, usage, condition, zoning and recommendations of improvements to site. Also included are photographs of the factories from various angles.
Factories surveyed in the Whanganui region are Whangaehu, Rangitikei, Rata, Okoia, Westmere, Kai Iwi, Rapanui, Taihape and Raetihi.
