Oral history. Alison Robinson talks with Garth and Gladys Bilkey of Bell Block, 26th August 1989. Both Gladys and Garth were previously members of the Central Taranaki Methodist church and they talk of their involvement in church families as they moved around the district. they also talk of ministers and mention the Christian Endeavour.
Also included is a short interview (on the second side) with Birdie and Ella Rowe.

Oral history. Alison Robinson talks with Ursula Symmans in early March 1990. Mrs Symmans died a few days later (16.April 1990). Originally from Christchurch, she talks of marrying Alf Symmans and coming to live on Finnerty Road. As a music teacher, she was active with choirs in the district and in particular, with the choirs before the 1913 union of Wesleyan and Primitive Methodists.
