" is written on the bottom cover. " Ina " is handwritten in pen on the top cover. Approximately 1/4 of the pages have been torn from the pad.

A pair of pillar lock handcuffs consisting of wide "U" shaped, blued metal bands with a long round lock across the top and hinged to one side. The bands are joined by two rings with a large eye bolt and hook in between. " HIATT " and an illegible number is marked on the cuffs and " 140 " is stamped on both sides of the key.

A white screen printed line runs across the chest of the shirt which features a profile of Mount Taranaki and Paritutu with " ma10 " behind them. " museums aotearoa / new plymouth 2010 " is written below this. " M / MADE IN / CHINA " and " BIZ COLLECTION " is written on two tags on the interior of the collar. A tag on the inside of the shirt also features washing instructions.

SCOTT SOUT POLE JAN 18 1912 " is marked around this. The medal is sealed in a light blue cardboard mount. Name/Title
A portable Gulbransen electric radio with a bakelite and metal case. The radio has two panels of brown plastic which are joined in the centre by a 7.5cm gold coloured metal panel in the front of the radio. There is a raised five pointed star above the green tuning screen with white numbers between 5.5 and 16. " Gulbransen " is moulded in the metal casing below the screen. There are two white knobs on the front, the left facing knob is the volume and power control and the right facing knob is the tuner. A speaker grill is mounted in the bottom section of the metal section.A white cord with a black three point plug is attached to the base of the radio. The handle is missing from the top.
