A rectangular piece of card which has been impressed with a bird design, causing the image to stand out. This has then been painted. Image is of two dead birds which are tied and secured to a background of wood.

Paper has been split in half. Remaining watermark has "TMAN / 80". (TM.2002.346 is a larger watercolour, and has the same watercolour mark in full). Drawing is not signed. Rear has rough outline sketch of same scene. Possibly Miss H Lackworthy is the artist.
