A pair of bullock horns mounted on a varnished wooden diamond shaped board. The horns are secured in the centre by plaster that has been coated in brown paint. The tips of the horns are brown. In the upper half of the front of the mount is a drilled circular hole for hanging the horn. The reverse of the wooden mount is lined with blue fabric.

A glass spirit flask with a metal and leather covering. The flask has a metal screw top lid and stem and a removable metal container on the bottom half. The top half of the flask is covered in leather with a vertical viewing slit cut in both sides. "E.P.B.M" is stamped on the base of the cup along with "JD&S" and a bugle mark. "D" and "4" are also stamped on the base.

" NEW ZEALAND VOLUNTEER 12 YEAR SERVICE MEDAL " is marked around the outside. A kiwi surrounded by a wreath is featured on the reverse. " No 256 COL SERGT. ERASMUS ARMITAGE TARANAKI RIFLE VOLS. (1904) " is marked on the edge. The medal is attached to a drab khaki ribbon fringed in crimson by a simple suspension ring.

A muzzle loading .75 calibre flintlock musket with brass butt plate, trigger guard, nose cap and three ramrod pipes. " TOWER " is marked on the lockplate along with a crown and " G R ". A small Crown is marked over "14" on the barrel strap.A flint has been fitted into the hammer for display purposes, it has been buffered by a dark piece of felt.
