Name/Title
A box of oil and mineral samples containing five glass bottles. The box is blue with open ended sides where the white card tray can slide in and out. The tray is segmented into five compartments that hold the bottles. From left to right they are "WAIPIPI / IRONSANDS", "MCKEE / CRUDE", "MAUI / CONDENSATE", UREA", and "METHANOL". All the lettering is printed in black on white labels adhered to the bottles. The bottles all are sealed with metal screw top lids. The box cover has "PRODUCTS OF TARANAKI / With the compliments of; / The Taranaki Catchment Commission and Regional Water Board" printed in black on either side of a clear perspex sheeting in the shape of Mount Taranaki / Egmont.

An Alfa Laval milk separator that has been bisected to show the internal mechanism. It has a large metal bowl at the top that is supported by a side arm connected to the main body. There is a valve that feeds liquid into a centrifuge with two pipes that carry the separated heavy fat globules from the serum or milk, leading off the back of the centrifuge casing. There is a crank mechanism to drive the centrifuge with the larger cog encased on the exterior of the model and a smaller cog connected to the central shaft of the centrifuge on the interior. Two plates giving product information attached on both sides of the model. Coloured chalk marks located on the key interior mechanisms.

A 4 and 3/4 inch cadmium plated rotary drill bit which has been converted into a trophy. The area where the toothed wheels attach to the main body have been welded to prevent the bits rotating. A plastic presentation plaque has been adhered with foam tape to the central region. " Drillwell Exploration NZ Ltd " is marked on the black plastic " GNG " stamped into the metal on the flat centres of two of the drilling bits. " HRGF ... 4 3/4 ... 238 ...2 7/8 REG ... 413131 ... [unidentified symbol shaped like a tear drop] " is stamped into the flat end of the drill bit beneath the thread.

A royal Doulton rack plate featuring a black ink photographic transfer with polychromatic tinting of a scenic view depicting Mount Taranaki / Egmont with a stream and bush view in the foreground. The plate has a green trim around the edge. It is marked on the reverse at centre. " MADE IN ... ENGLAND / ROYAL DOULTON / ENGLAND " printed in black ink on the reverse of the plate at centre. The first line is curved downward and bisected by the base of a crown. The second line is also curved downward beneath the crown and the first line. The third line completes the circle with the second line and is curved upward.

A furry mechanical dog with a moveable tongue, tail and ears. The main body is tan and the right ear, tail and collar are a darker brown. The nose, tongue and feet are painted metal. The dog moves on four wheels, two of which are attached to a circular disc for sideways movement. The mechanism is designed to be powered by two D sized batteries which are inserted vertically at the base. It has a red plastic on/off switch.
